Contrary to her detractors, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta much better-known as Lady Gaga is of the marrying kind after all.
The lucky guy is of course Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney, 33, who popped the question right in time for the Valentine's turning it up with 10-carat heart-shaped diamond ring. The recent Grammy-winning jazz album singer who just turned 29 this March seemed all set to wed - shedding the wild antics and outlandish garbs for instance and donning a flowing floor-length violet dress acting bridesmaid in her best friend's wedding last March 20.
Though the lovely superstar-duo is yet to announce a wedding date, the guest list is already attracting the Who's Who in music. Jazz legendary crooner octogenarian Tonny Bennet is set to be the wedding singer while Elton John is rumored top of the list. In the meantime, Laly Gaga's acting career awaits.
The Sweetest Proposal of All
From the onset, music played a role in their lives as Kinney and Gaga started dating since 2011 when the suave actor was featured in her "You and I" music video.
But things came to a head this Valentine's.
In an article on MailOnline, Lady Gaga detailed how she said "Yes!" right away and cried even when Kinney gave her but a Ring Pop.
Of course it was just a prank for after the sweet candy followed the heart-shaped diamond ring.
The breathtaking little piece of rock dazzled with the letters "T" and "S" representing the words "Taylor loves Stefani."
Packing the Wedding
Already, the much-awaited wedding is attracting one musical guest after the other.
At the heels of her Grammy-winning jazz album Cheek to Cheek, the world-renowned singer is tapping American music legend Tony Bennett as wedding singer, ET reports.
Benett and Lady Gaga have collaborated in the Cheek to Cheek album.
Bennett, 88, disclosed via The New York Post that he'll be singing saying, "They invited me to do it, and of course, I will."
The octogenarian is all high-praise for the groom detailing, "She's marrying a very wonderful man, very talented and very handsome. I think he's going be highly successful in films. He's a very nice person."
Another musical legend set to be part of the guest list is Elton John.
Lady Gaga who is set to try her wares in acting in the Season 5 of American Horror Story, seemed all set for the wedding, beaming in flowing lady dresses in her best friend's wedding last March 20.
For many, the idea of a Lady Gaga walking the aisle seem a spectacle in itself already.
It's hard to imagine that someone who have always pushed the envelope in performing, wore the unthinkable onstage and off-stage, and had loads and loads of energy can ever find time for love, settle down and start a family.
This time Lady Gaga is set to out-Gaga herself!
