Amid the hype vortex that's going on among hardcore fans of GTA 5: Online Heists, speculations of Casino DLC, not to mention the game sequel, the GTA 6 release, have started to mushroom online.
The release of all-new GTA 6 game is never a question of if, but rather, of when.
Despite the lack of official announcements from game developer Rockstar Games, some sites predict the GTA 6 arrives sometime in 2016. It could be wishful thinking provided that there's been a five-year gap between GTA 5 (released 2013) and GTA 4 (2008), an even longer hiatus between GTA 4 and GTA 3 (2001).
A separate prediction is that next installment to the GTA franchise would be possibly out in 2018.
The game in question could be in the works already, though, and it may look back at all the places players may have been to on the previous GTAs as well as on new location.
"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do... We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas," said Rockstar Games president Leslie Benzies in an interview.
"Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas. In that context re-imagining Vice City would be very interesting," he added.
Also, it is safe to say that the action-adventure game is going to be available on the major platforms PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
PS4 and Xbox One are the most likely gaming consoles where the game comes to, since their next generations are probably coming out in 2020, well after the predicted 2018 release. The consoles' predecessors are already going to lose OEM support by 2016, so, there are no other platforms for the game to port on to.
PC is an expected platfom as well, which most likely comes with the console releases or some time after it.
For now, fans can look forward to GTA 5 Online Heists Casino DLC and other updates while waiting for the GTA 6 release to offer even more exciting fun gaming experience to every GTA lover out there by 2018, perhaps?
