NBA 2K15 Patch 4 Released by 2K: All-time Kentucky Challenge Now Available Plus Cool Updates

By

2K Sports has now released the latest patch update for NBA 2K15, fixing a lot of issues and bugs in the game. The fourth patch was initially released for PS4 and PC while Xbox One did not receive the patch update until April 1.

The latest update, Patch 4 or Update 1.04, is 2.84 GB for PS4 but smaller in size for PC. It offers stability and general improvements to the game and mainly addresses the shoe glitch problem that has long been overdue. The glitch prevented the players from equipping purchased sneakers to their MyPlayer characters.

Ronnie Singh, a spokesperson of 2K, tweeted that the patch also included a fix regarding an issue with MyPark. "Another thing addressed last night was to deal w/ rare occurrences that led to #NBA2K15 #MyPark rep being stuck. Should no longer happen," Singh tweeted.

The patch notes included issues regarding improvements in the MyGM/MyLEAGUE/MyCAREER, inability to access specific Online Leagues, removal of the "auto-hesitation" dribble animations, and many more. The full list of patch notes in the update was released in NBA 2K's Facebook Page, with all the patch fixes working in the existing game mode saves.

Apart from the release of Patch 4 for NBA 2K15, other recent updates have also been available in the game. Sim Bhullar was added to the NBA 2K15 roster on the same week Sacramento Kings signed the real Sim Bhullar. The update also included a huge change to player ratings.

"Three-point and mid-range shooting ratings were globally adjusted based on shooting percentages from the newest patch. (Every player had their standing and moving mid-range and three-point-shot ratings decreased by eight points.) Due to these changes, in some cases the overall rating for players may be drastically different than it was before," explained Mike Stauffer of 2K Sports and Operations Sports.

An All-Time Kentucky Challenge is also now available in MyTeam Challenge. And the Throwback Thursday pack added '94-'95 Clyde Drexler and '67-'68 Jerry Lucas in the MyTeam player roster.

NBA 2K15 fans can now avail of the latest patch 4 released to tweak bugs and issues as well as enjoy the added roster and other updates to take the basketball sim gaming experience up a notch.
