Minecraft Patch 1.10 or The Love and Hugs Update gives a more loving and friendly environment t the immensely popular game. All harmful aspects are replaced with helpful ones, and monsters are now to be called "inhabitants." Mojang announced more brand new features of the patch last April 1.

Players of the game are well aware of the violent nature of Minecraft. The game is widely known for its action and survival elements, making it one of the most popular video games nowadays. Because of the popularity of the game, the developer of Minecraft, Mojang, believes it is time to take responsibility and use their role to make a difference to the world.

As such, Mojang promises that the updates from here on now will focus solely on building healthy relationships with the environment and its inhabitants. Of course, this was just Mojang's April Fools prank.

Regardless of that fact, patch 1.10 or Hugs and Love update for Minecraft game includes brand-new features that players would be thrilled to try out. For the gameplay, the Health and Hunger bar has been replaced with the Love meter which fills up when helping others or when being helped by others. And the "Survival" mode has been renamed to "Existence."

As mentioned, "Monsters" shall be called "Inhabitants" to promote equality. Creepers no longer explode, Witches have become friendly, and the Wither has been replaced with his lovable pink counterpart. To ensure safety, liquid cheese blocks replaced the lava blocks and love bombs replaced the TNT. Dungeons were replaced with homes and cliff edges were lined with fences to avoid accidents.

All graphical settings have been removed and there is now only one world available. This promotes equality as some resource packs were better than others, giving an unfair advantage to some of the players. The full patch notes of the Love and Hugs Update was released in Mojang's blog.

Out of all the prank updates released by various video games, Minecraft's prank-based patch 1.10 called Love and Hugs update was perhaps the best one.
