Last time, GTA V avid fans saw the 60 fps video trailer for the upcoming PC version of the Online Heists. While waiting for the official release of the platform, at least, Rockstar Games has something new to offer for fans. One of the latest updates for the game is its preloading for PC which will begin this week.
Slated for April 7, PC preloading will begin before the platform release by next week, April 14. The game developer confirmed the said schedule through their FAQs in their official website, by saying, "Yes, pre-loads via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam will be available on April 7th ... We will update this page with an exact time as soon as that information is available."
Through their official Twitter account, they also tweeted yesterday, April 4, saying, "GTAV PC pre-loads will be available via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam on April 7th. For details, see [link]"
For those who opt to buy through the retail stores, they will get details about the pre-loads as soon as they have it. However, these details will be duly given by the retailer's customer support departments, Rockstar Games said. So, the gamers should call these departments for the details.
"If you pre-ordered GTA V from a digital retailer other than Rockstar Warehouse or Steam, please contact your retailer's customer support departments for details on pre-loads," Rockstar added.
Furthermore, the said preload requires PC to have at least 65GB for the hard drive. Therefore, before the users could install it in their system, they need to have a huge clean up to accommodate this huge file. So, to imagine how big it is, the players are advised to have it by 7th to have enough time to download it before the first wave of the upcoming platform release since this big file will require more than a day to finish before its installed [that depends on the internet speed].
Though the console platforms were already released a month ago, while having the PC version delayed, at least, hopefully, users could expect a lot from the platform since they have been patiently waiting for it.
At least, GTA V will be fully released all across platforms, which the PC will be slated by April 14. So, fans will have to wait a little bit more before its official launching and at the same time for the GTA V PC preloading.
