Floyd Mayweather Jr. clearly knows how to flaunt his riches.
Telegraph reported that the American boxing champ would wear a $25,000 mouthguard containing diamonds, gold, and genuine $100 bills for his fight against Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand on May 2.
The report added that the expensive mouthguard is designed and made by Dr. Lee Gause, a New York dentist, who was commissioned by Mayweather to do his mouthguard fitting before a fight. Moreover, Dr. Gause had cut-out a portion of the $100 bills inserted into the plastic mouthguard.
There were also recent reports that Mayweather hired a celebrated female chef who is being paid $1,000 for each meal she prepares in camp.
However, Mayweather's spending doesn't end there. TMZ ha reported that Mayweather has bought a $300,000 customised Mercedes party bus, which has been shipped to Las Vegas especially for the fight.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter a.k.a. Land Yacht was designed specifically for the unbeaten American champion. The Land Yacht contains a 55-inch TV with Apple and Direct TV, Surround Sound stereo system, Maybach heated massage chairs, a champagne bar and a cabin lighting system.
The Land Yacht is the latest addition to the boxing champ's expensive car collection which comprises of some of the most rare and expensive cars in the world amounting to $7.3 million. Mayweather already owns three Bugatti Veyron, two Ferrari 458 Spider, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
Last week, it was revealed that Manny Pacquiao sealed the deal on a $12.5 million Beverly Hills mansion by offering the sellers four tickets to his super-fight with Floyd Mayweather.
As the fight of the century looms, both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are hard at training. Pacquiao recently posted a video of his rigorous training on his Instagram account. Manny Pacquiao captioned the video saying, "Training hard every day. Thank you to my fans for pushing me and encouraging me. Thank you Lord for the strength you've given to me."
The welterweight showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao is estimated to be worth $300 million. The unbeaten American is expected to earn around $120 million for this fight, and Pacquiao, $80 million.
