Orphan Black comes back with an exhilarating season 3 and it will bring fans much deeper down the clone hole. In the next season, we are introduced to the Project Castor clones while the Project Leda clones face more hardships.
As the new season of Orphan Black, BBC America's beloved sci-fi drama, comes back a little over a week from now, fans already have a grasp of this season's synopsis. But briefly, here is some spoilers that fans have to look forward to:
Now that sister-clones know that they are not the only clones to exist, this throws them into a world of danger they did not expect, leading them to more questions instead of answers. With the four main clones - Sarah, Helena, Allison, and Cosima - apart, events could break the bonds they have forged with one another.
The cast and creators have given fans some hints as to what they should expect from this exciting, new season.
Orphan Black season 3 spoilers revealed that the Castor clones know about each other unlike the Leda ones, and actor Ari Millen has said the male clones have a sibling-like relationship with one another. We will be meeting at least four Castor clones this season, three of which (Mark, Rudy, and Miller) we have been introduced to in the last season, though Rudy and Miller were only there for last few moments of the finale.
Though fans are all fidgety with all of this new clone information, the show will still focus on the lives of the female clones, Project Leda.
With Rachel recuperating (yes, she is alive) from the pencil shot into her eye, Delphine (Evelyn Brochu) takes over as the leader of the Dyad Institute, which would cause some problems between her and her girlfriend, Cosima. Delphine will want to focus on finding a cure for Cosima while Cosima would want her energy to go elsewhere.
One of the creators of the show, Graeme Manson, has stated that fans are going to see more of Beth Childs this season even though she died in the first episode. Opening her backstory could give viewers insight about the other clones around the world and the major part she played in this complicated story.
After a long hiatus, Orphan Black makes up for it by returning with storylines that are more mind-blowing than before.
