"Fast & Furious 7" have just been released in the cinemas but another sequel of the movie - "Furious 8" is already making its rounds online. Vin Diesel clearly made it official that a Furious 8 and 9 are already on the works even before the release of "Fast & Furious 7." There is definitely no stopping in the ride of the lives of the Torreto family.
Vin Diesel recently appeared in the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show and revealed several interesting bits and pieces of the upcoming Furious 8 movie. Cast Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russel, whose appearance in the 7th installment was a secret will be crossing over to the 8th installment of the movie. The next movie franchise according to Diesel will be featured in the big apple-New York.
Kurt Russel survived the events in the recently Furious 7 and will play an important role in the upcoming Furious 8. "Kurt Russel came in for this movie but we really hired him because of a story that follows this, and takes place in New York. There's some cool stuff that not everybody know," Vin Diesel revealed. Frank Petty, Kurt Russel's character in the movie will definitely be a big player in the nest franchise.
Another exciting to look forward to in "Furious 8" is that it is somehow part of a trilogy. Furious & will launch several events that will lead to 'Furious 8" and a conclusive Furious 9. The next two movies will be most likely directed by Justin Lin.
On the other hand, Universal Studios is rumored to be mostly likely raking a billion dollars the least in the latest Fast & Furious franchise. Furious 7 has already earned $384 million on its Easter Sunday opening and could possible reach a billion dollars in ticket sales worldwide by the end of its run.
"Given that Furious 7 is already closing in on $400 million globally and has the marketplace pretty much to itself for the next month until Avengers: Age of Ultron opens, Universal is positioned perfectly for a race to the $1 billion mark," revealed by Rentrak box office analyst Paul Dergarabedian.
