The Walking Dead Season 6 Spoilers: Major character deaths, new cast, and bigger scarier new series this October

By

The Walking Dead season 5 finale left fans picking their jaws off of the floor and season 6 is promising the same thing when it comes back, with new characters and possible parallels with the comics. There have also been statements for the fans about what they should expect in the next season.

Since this show is based on a comic book, there are some plot theories that readers can predict beforehand. For The Walking Dead season 6, there are a few events that are sure to move viewers to the edges of their seats.

Major character deaths are a constant in this show. Not only are the Wolves coming to Alexandria but, if the comic books are anything to go by, there is going to be a big walker attack which could possibly take the life of Jessie and her sons. Following this potential massacre, Rick might take over control of Alexandria when Deanna realizes that she might not be an effective leader in this situation.

In addition, a new antagonist named Negan might come and bash Glenn's head in with a bat with barbed wire but there is also speculation that it might be Daryl instead. If this would happen, a lot of angry fans are going to be heard from.

There will also be new characters named Paul and Ezekiel, both of them future allies with Rick and the rest. Paul would play a significant role of getting Rick's group to the Hilltop Colony while Ezekiel plays the leader of "The Kingdom" which is one of the biggest communities of survivors in their world. Ezekiel and Rick will team up to take down Negan.

Showrunner Scott Gimble, actor Norman Reedus (Daryl on the show), and executive producer Gale Anne Hurd have all given fans little hints about what season six has in store for them.

Gimble has said that season six might be the biggest season yet and that things are going to get "very big, loud, and scary." Hurd mentioned that the show is going to be a thrill ride for the viewers and that it could be a more expensive season with new characters, bolder action scenes, and intense special effects, which she hinted on by mentioning the show's line producer's anxiety about the new episode pitches. Reedus mentioned the Wolves and what they are going to bring in the following season. He said that unlike Terminus, the Wolves are a lot braver when it comes to their mode of attack.

Though the premiere date is not set, The Walking Dead has released their new season the same time as New York Comic Con so if they continue doing that, the all new season 6 will return on the small screen October 11.
