Last episode of the 'Vikings' titled 'Born Again' showed us the death of the former monk, Athelstan. It also featured the heartbroken Ragnar, after Floki killed his friend. In the forthcoming season, it was teased that King Ragnar Lothbrok will be going through a lot of changes. Althelstan's killer will surely be affected by this changes. According to recent report, Ragnar will "get the man who did this." Thus, the upcoming sequel may lead viewers through the darker side of Ragnar, who may take his retaliation on Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) for killing his close friend.
"It's going to have a huge impact psychologically and in other ways. We don't necessarily see that immediately, but certainly when he gets to France. He becomes a slightly different, slightly darker man," Creator Michael Hist told Zap2it.
Meanwhile, other 'Vikings Season 3 spoilers signify that Viking army is determined to make through the gates of Paris. No one can stop them.
According to official synopsis, 8th episode is titled 'To The Gates': "The Viking army will embark and Paris is going to go into lockdown as the army prepares the defense, overseen by Odo. The Vikings will be determined to make it through the gates of Paris and will stop at nothing to succeed."
Episode 8 is set to air on Thursday night, April 9th at 10pm central time on The History Channel.
Meanwhile, for those who wished Norsemen saga to continue kicking, recent news indicates that "Vikings" Season 4 is already scheduled to commence its filming production this April in Ireland.
Hirst said in a recent interview with Radio Times that the next chapter will consist of more episodes than the current one.
