Released in 2012, Dead or Alive 5 remains strong with its fighting game, featuring sexy fighters all throughout the gameplay. However, recently, there were a lot of PC features that were not included in the game.
According to some reports, there are worrying signs present in the PC port of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. They said that the game only has the capability to support offline play, plus, it doesn't have online multiplayer modes, based from some sources.
As per the game's official website said, "Online gameplay is planned to be added at a later date." Yet, there are no word from the game developer when would this mode be available for the game. They have released DLC package, yet, there are bunch of features missing.
With the DLC package, there are 400 costumes available for the characters. 31 of these are new. So, it should sound exciting for gamers, but this isn't like that.
What is worse is that even the graphics of the game is not that good for the PS4 platform. It seemed that it's just tantamount to the required visual appearance resolution to a PS3 version. Thus, the game should have much more HD graphics to have an improved fighting game experience as well.
But, as of the moment, this seemed a frustration by some.
If the game developer could consider having a Soft Engine to its game like those of the other amazing fighting game titles with stunning visual appearances, the fans would rather appreciate it much. Thus, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round would have its skin look softer for the PS4 and PC platforms.
Though a lot appreciated the mechanics of the game, since it's good after all, however, even the two stages like Danger Zone and The Crimson were also not present in the Steam version. They said there are reasons why the game developer didn't have it in the said version, but they didn't mention it, sadly.
It's not the Steam achievements were absent, but also the cloud saving and at the same time the controller vibration. So, the players have the inability to save their data to their respective characters which also covered the player's IDs if ever they decided to have new changes. They also have problems encountered in loading the data.
Generally, Dead or Alive 5 seemed to have a lot of problems alongside gamers' negative feedbacks than the positive. So far, from reviews, it boils down to the fact that the gamers demand for an updated, upgraded version of the game fit for the released platforms.
With its definitive edition design with bood-heavy pummel-'em-up, fans hopes that there will be some available patches from Sega AM2 and Team Ninja to offer for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
