Kendrick Lamar has been growing with the help of his revolutionary rap music, which is audible through his latest album 'To Pimp a Butterfly.' However some music observers are skeptic if he can stand the calls of commercialism. Recently, Reebok featured Lamar in their advertisement and apart from it the 27-year-old Compton singer may be future ambassador of New England Patriots.

"When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for we, the people, to do things a little different," starts the voiceover. "It's in the air. We can no longer sit idly by while the powers that be tell us how to live, how to think, how to act-all the while writing about so-and-so not caring about us. No anonymous posts or spineless subtweets will do us justice. We, the people, can no longer hide. The time is now and they know it, too. For we hold these truths to be self-evident: A Wind of change is blowing in. Inhale. Exhale. And breath," Lamar's voice-over.

According to E!online.com, Kendrick's shoe ad stirred questions about his intention and it effect to his value. However, the site added that in contrast to his contemporaries, Lamar remains humble and doesn't let commercialism affect his brand of music. They mentioned that perhaps Reebok is aware his massive effect. Furthermore, E Online cited Lamar's admission that he still renting a house in South Bay and one of his few assets was a the house he bought for his family.

Meantime, Chandler Jones shared with TMZ Sports that he's hoping that one day Lamar will represent his team. Apparently, the New England Patriots player was aware that Lamar donned a varsity jacket with the logo of his team in the music video of 'King Kunta.'

"It would be really cool. I'm a huge fan of his and a lot of people on my team are too," Jones said in his interview with TMZ. "I've seen [Kraft] in a lot of photos with iconic rappers like Rick Ross and artists like Usher. I would say he's a very hip hop owner ... so I'm just saying he wouldn't mind some Kendrick."

If Lamar hasn't commented or ready yet for football, 'The Blacker The Berry' singer will play a little bit of baseball on April 27. The Los Angeles Dodgers informed on Twitter that the rapper is set to do first pitch at Dodger Stadium.

"Really diggin' that lid, @kendricklamar. See you April 27 for your first pitch," a message from baseball team's Twitter account.
