The on-screen chemistry of "Divergent" stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James are undeniable. Even in real life, the two are always ready to toy with the camera while exchanging banters. Both of them will return in "Divergent: Allegiant Part 1" to face new challenges as the in a "whole different world."
Theo James described his and Tris' characters as "two damaged people" who constantly battle for their survival in the war. According to him, the challenges that affect their personalities are what make their relationship "richer and enticing."
In real life however, the "Divergent: Allegiant" pair is considered to be close enough. During red carpet premieres, the two are always caught by the camera doing loved-up poses. Of course it could just be a promotional stunt but body language expert Judi James says that it could also mean that they are genuinely close off-set. The two are also seen mirroring the pose of the other countless times, almost adopting matching poses.
The closeness of the two will surely help them in filming two more movies under the "Divergent" franchise. As we all know, the final book in the series authored by Veronica Roth will be split into two parts. Part 1 of "Divergent: Allegiant" will feature a mind-blowing visuals and will introduce us into a whole different world.
Controversies are also surrounding the Allegiant Movie adaptation as the book tells us that Shailene Woodley's character won't make it to the end credits. Todd Lieberman admits that he still doesn't have any idea how to handle that part of the book but believes it's a vital arc for Tris' character.
The on-screen and real life chemistry between Shailene Woodley and Theo James is just one of the factors that catapult the "Divergent" series as one of the top YA movies to date. In "Divergent: Allegiant" we can expect that the two will continue to battle together no matter what the future holds for them.
"Divergent: Allegiant" Part 1 release slated on March 18, 2016.
