Kelli Goss, who played Courtney on "The Young and the Restless," thanked her fans for their undying support on her Instagram account.
"The Young and The Restless has given me the best two weeks that turned into two years and I will never be able to thank them enough," she wrote.
Goss added that she is bidding her fans farewell for now because nobody really dies in soap operas. This statement made fans wonder if her character would re-appear in the forthcoming episodes of the show.
Many Y&R fans were not pleased to see Courtney leave, especially when she and Noah were about to tie the knot. Some fans, however, thought the creators did a great job for adding another surprising twist to the show. It also left many fans wondering about the piece of evidence she stumbled upon at the computer at the station.
