One Direction is on a two month break from touring so Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson will have a little time to work on their various solo projects.
Harry Styles is reportedly hitting the studio again after being back in Los Angeles. After One Diretion's concert tour, Styles has been teasing the song "Not Our Fault" during a recent interview with Access Holywood. The song was a collaboration with Gavin DeGraw and was supposed to be included in "The Final Hour: Best of Gavin DeGraw" but did not make the final cut.
Fans are now wondering if Harry Styles will release the song "Not Our Fault" without One Direction or if it will be included in the band's fifth album. Recently, Harry Styles has admitted that they are already working on their fifth album. He said, "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album, it shows how incredible the fans have been," said Harry Styles.
Niall Horan added that their forthcoming album may be the best one yet. "We're looking forward to seeing all our fans on the tour this year. The fans are amazing. They are so loyal. All we want to do is make them proud and return their faith in us with a brilliant tour and an amazing new album," Horan said.
Meanwhile, Gavin DeGraw has previously insisted that "Not Our Fault" is a "winner" and "beautiful" track. The "Sweeter" singer explained that the song is about a relationship not working out. He said, "it is about if it doesn't work out sometimes you can't necessarily just blame it on yourself. Sometimes it's what's going on around you and other things that have nothing to do with the two people involved; it touches on that subject."
When asked if "Not our fault" is about one of Harry's relationships, Gavin DeGraw added, "it's about me and Harry. I was like 'I see where this is going, and I don't think it's gonna work out. It's a story for people who do a lot of travelling and have the lifestyles that we have."
DeGraw has also expressed his amazement of Harry Styles's attitude. He said, "He already is a pop superstar. I was curious, because at the end of the day if you have a bad day in the studio it's just one day; you can always be like ‘this song sucks, I'm outta here'... We got in the studio and he was really respectful, he was nice. I played for a second; I sang an opening line and he immediately followed it up with another line. A few hours later we had the majority of a song completed."
