The much awaited Game of Thrones Season 5 will finally air on HBO this April 12, 2015. The TV Series is a rendition of George R.R. Martin's bestselling "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series. Reports indicate that the upcoming season may see the possible romances for Daenerys Targaryen.
Despite the show's basis, the Game of Thrones storyline have been deviating from that of the books' version over the previous seasons. Season 5 is expected to observe the same change in the plots especially on Jaime Lannister's role in the series.
Sources tell that Jaime Lannister will be sent on a trip to the Martell's. Upon arrival, he will then meet Doran Martell and the three Sand Snakes Obara, Tyene and Nymeria. However, in the book version, Jaime comforts Tommen and then sent by Cersei to fend for Edmunre Trully and Brendan the Blackfish. This shows that Jaime will have a more exciting role by meeting the Sand Snakes instead of just doing errands for Cersei.
On other news, potential romances circulate the lives of Sansa, Littlefinger, and especially, Daenerys.
Being the underdog in the past seasons, Sansa Stark would appear to be stronger than ever during Season 5. According to an interview, the lead actress Sophie Turner reveals that Sansa would dress differently as this season would be darker for her and "seduce" Littlefinger. She adds that Sansa and Littlefinger would do great together, no matter how weird the situation would be.
Additionally, Daenerys Targaryen also has her fair share of speculations about new blossoming romances. Since the new season is expected to make some changes on how they will depict the book, it might be possible that there will be some lesbian romance between Daenerys and her lady's maid, Missandei.
Others also speculate that maybe Daenerys and Jon Snow will finally meet in the fifth season of Game of Thrones. Emilia Clark, the actress who plays Daenerys, mentioned that fans have been spreading rumors that Jon Snow and her character are somewhat related. Furthermore, she also adds that there might be a possibility that the two will have a romantic encounter since the Targaryens have always intended to keep the bloodline pure.
