This is a pretty big year for "Call of Duty" fans because Activision has finally confirmed that a new 'COD' title will be released sometime in November. As what has discussed with the previous article, the new title "Black Ops 3" is currently being developed by 'Treyarch'. Although no specific release dates have been revealed yet, rumors say that more details about the new game will be delivered this month or next.
Apparently, the hype all began when Treyarch released a new video and update for 'Black Ops 2'. The update includes a short video, along with a voiceover saying "Listen only to the sound of my voice". These are considered to be a series of clues that are allegedly pointing towards the new game for COD which they called as 'Black Ops 3', Metro wrote.
Eventually, all clues and speculations proved to be true when the developer itself (Treyarch) announced a confirmation of new 'COD 2015' is on its way which reads, "COD in 2015 confirmed. We look forward to carrying on the conversation... that is, if we haven't started it already. #InDevelopment.", a source reported.
According to Activision Publishing CEO "Eric Hirshberg", "Our 2015 guidance on Call of Duty's new release is flat year-over-year, but we still have a fairly conservative planning assumption. We have Treyarch developing the game. We'll have a larger installed base of next-gen hardware to sell into, and we believe our Q4 new release can be one of our best games yet. So we think the future is bright." the site added.
Moreover as to the official title, speculations say that it may stick to "Black Ops 3" or a new "World at War" title. However that remains to be revealed by Treyarch, hopefully soon.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" by Treyarch has been confirmed that it is in development and is set to debut in November while specific release dates are speculated to be revealed anytime soon.
