Slated for 2016 release, Red Dead Redemption 2 series will arrive along with a new gameplay especially with its new set from the Old West feel to the timeless Japanese old times. One leak was revealed lately with a claim of having a sequel of the game possible. What is more interesting is that it would likely to have similar gameplay with GTA Online Heists.
Just recently, there was new information appeared online through 'AnonDN1978', who claimed to be a former member of the Rockstar team, stated about the big chances that the Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive soon. Plus, they also mentioned that it would arrive in new generation consoles and PC platforms.
What is much more interesting about the game details is that it contrasted to the rumour of having an ancient Japanese era where the samurais and rounins existed, by saying that there will be the same place where the sequel could be placed.
Furthermore, there will also be multiplayer mode for the players similar to GTA's Online Heists of Rockstar Games. With the mechanics, it features unlocking system for the outfits, horses, and more. Customization of these items are said to be possible in the game.
Another thing to notice by gamers, aside from the MP features of the Heists, they could also see third-person gameplay.
He also said that there will be two characters served as the main protagonists of the game, namely Irish and Seth. Irish was brought to America from Ireland, moving his life after 6 years in the gameplay. On the other hand, Seth is from Kansas City, working as a bank teller. By hearing about the treasure, he then used his life savings to bring his entire family to Tumbletweed, Texas. Towards the game, he will experience a lot of troubles such as losing his loved ones, home, and possessions.
Though it was also stated from reports that the complete details about the game will be announced during this year's E3 game press convention, yet, there are a lot of fans speculating that together with the most played GTA, all-time popular game franchise of Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be a "permanent franchise" of the team.
So far, Rockstar Games didn't release any confirmed launching date, which was also supported by Take Two's CEO Strauss Zelnick, by saying, "We've launched one new successful franchise every year and I would like to keep doing that particularly because I talk about permanent franchises, but not everything is going to be permanent franchise."
Since five years when the first series was released, however, it took them 2 years before they first announced that the game will have its sequel, and another set of years before they could release it. And because the game developer hasn't confirmed anything yet about the final date of release, there is no hint that it would arrive this year.
Meanwhile, this game has something special to offer to gamers with its ancient Japanese surroundings, leaving that usual Old Western atmosphere all throughout the game. Relative to that is the plot about Yojimno set in 1961 film focusing to the story of "a masterless samurai or a rounin," definitely a Japanese classic.
Set to release in PS4, Xbox One, PC platforms, Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives sometime with GTA mechanics.
