The Flash is down to its last five episodes before its finale. What better way to further up the ante with another crossover episode that involves engineering genius Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) "having a weird good" feeling for Arrow's Canary (Katie Cassidy).
This unlikely hookup although a bit one sided occurs during the "Who Is Dr. Harrison Wells" episode as Detective Joe West (Jessie L. Martin) and Ramon head to the Arrow's Starling City to uncover more about the aforementioned Dr. Harrison Wells. While in the process of asking Police Captain Quentin Lance for clues, Cisco chances upon the captain's daughter. Laurel Lance, who has long masqueraded as the new Canary wants help with her Canary cry. Although the television version is a different account from the comic's authentic metahuman cry, Cisco who is immediately smitten says "amen" to the favor as evident in these photos.
It's been teased via both Arrow and The Flash promos that Cisco Ramon and Laurel Lance will be interacting when the shows crossover once again. Laurel claims she knows that Barry is The Flash, and that she's the Black Canary, so it's safe to say Cisco is head over heels for the latest Starling City crime fighter.
Nevertheless, a new meta-human is in Central City. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates (guest star Martin Novotny) who can alter his image into any person he makes contact with - which includes Eddie (Rick Cosnett), Iris (Candice Patton), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and even The Flash. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Cortney Norris.
Prior to the April 21st episode, "The Flash" has a new extended trailer that not only shows Barry Allen having "second thoughts" about the S.T.A.R. Labs head honcho. The YouTube footage now also includes both Cisco and Dr. Caitlin Snow learning about the shocking truth.
