Aside from that, its shooter is rumored to be an 8-megapixel set-up.
Also, rumors abound with the current trust of Apple to introduce Apple Pay, it may not be a long shot for the iPod Touch 6th Generation to sport the nifty payment facility.
And with the trend towards integration it is also highly likely the new iPod would be compatible with the soon-to-launch Apple Smart Watch and would come with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Making it more user-friendly, Siri - the famous digital assistant on iPhones - could be a regular feature on the upgraded iPod Touch.
The Water-resistant Media Player
Further as reported on Master Herald, the iPod Touch 6th is said to be water-resistant. Though "not-so-special feature" it may add more points to the unique features of the device and allow the future iPod touch stand out in the crowd of music and media players which has not integrated such a feature.
"The Apple Watch for instance is water-resistant but it is very common for many timepieces to have the same capability. And so are some other current mobile devices. But looking at the present and even recent roster of music and media player devices, it would be nearly improbable to identify one that has the water-resistant feature, which makes the Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation truly unique," explained the news outlet.
