A free new patch, Black Emporium, is the fifth update for the Dragon Age: Inquisition releasing in May that will allow players access to the Black Emporium shop.
When asked about an option to change character appearances, the game's executive producer Mark Darrah responded via his Twitter account that they were "working on it" and that the update "should be out by May."
The Black Emporium patch for Dragon Age Inquisition is currently on beta testing phase for selected PC users who signed up for the Bioware patch 5 testing program.
Located in Kirkwall, the Black Emporium is a secret shop specializing in unique items. Owned by the immortal Xenon, it also has the Mirror of Transformation which allows players to customize their character's appearance and portrait.
The Black Emporium DLC is a freebie from Bioware.
It was first made available for Hawke in Dragon Age II and now makes its way to Dragon Age: Inquisition.
It is not yet known whether players will be given a mabari like Hawke did, but players are really more interested in the fact the customization can now be done at any point in the game.
The update also give players access to party storage, accessible at the Undercroft in Skyhold.There is also an additional item tinter that allows gamers to change their armors' color.
Along with the Black Emporium update, players are also going to access the Jaws of Hakkon DLC sometime in May after the exclusivity deal on Xbox wears off. Dragon Age: Inquisition was launched November 2014 on PC, PS3 and PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
Meanwhile, creative director Mike Laidlaw said in an interview that they are currently working on yet another DLC which will add a story-based expansion.
"The two big pulls are - 'I want more of this game' and 'I've reached the ending and I want to know more about the characters, or one specific character'," Laidlaw said,
"I think there's a desire for pursuing that a little further but it doesn't have to end that discussion. It's a bit of tightrope, and one that I can't possibly discuss - biggest spoilers in the universe! [But] it's something we're very cognizant of," he added.
Dragon Age: Inquisition Black Emporium update is something that fans have to look forward to after May.
