Singer Pink was called fat as she wore a black deep V-neck dress during a cancer benefit ball in support of a friend on Saturday evening. Followers were quick to comfort the mother-singer who says she feels perfectly happy with her body.
In her tweet, Pink acknowledged her dress did not look good in the picture as it did on a picture of her in the kitchen but she also admitted she felt very pretty. When she retweeted a screen shot of a follower that said "fat bitch loose wait" , another follower also sarcastically emphasized the wrong use of the word 'loose' which should be "lose' instead.
"I could "loose" some with you. We should all get together and get looser with our weight," it said, which Pink retweeted.
One female user tagged the singer a list of comments on the former's picture posted in Instagram. It said things like "fat ass", "I hope from last week you lost 10 pounds" and "ugly chipmunk" pertaining to the picture posted by the female user. Pink consoled her by saying she loves chipmunks. "These people are amazing", the singer also retorted.
More comforting tweets were sent to the singer saying Twitter is better when the singer slams the haters. One said she has lost weight because of the singer while a mom said her belly is squishy too but it is where her three children were nurtured.
This is in reaction to Pink's earlier post about her 3 year old daughter Willow asking why her belly is squishy in which she replied "b/cuz I'm happy baby." Pink has been known to have a fit body. She gave birth to Willow in 2011.
The body shamers did not stop Pink from staying positive. According to another report, she also recognized other moms who posted pictures of their post-pregnancy bodies.
Despite the bashing she received, Pink is still embracing what she calls her voluptuous, crazy, strong body.
