Pretty Little Liars fans will not be disappointed after the series returns for summer as show runners guarantee it is one filled with drama. Season 6 has not premiered yet, nonetheless, several rumours and speculations about the show are all over the internet. Recently, Pretty Little Liars Episode 2 director, Norman Buckley posts behind the scenes photos on his Instagram while filming the TV series' installment.
Eepisodes 2 and 3 of Pretty Little Liars are beautifully entitled Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience respectively, obviously inspired by the illustrated poems of William Blake of the same titles published in 1789. If the logic is correct, they are named such to underline transition from childhood to adulthood as a state of experience that occurs in everyone's lives. Having said this, Season 6 of Pretty Little Liars tackles these issues together with some twists and bumps along for the girls to face.
Pretty Little Liars writer Joseph Dougherty explains these titles in references to the promotional video released for the upcoming season.
"They mean I like linked titles. And I think there's a lot of interesting stuff going on in the," Dougherty says in the video. In the second video, "I think [these episodes have] to do with whether or not you speak in mythic terms of metaphorical terms or if you wanna be," Dougherty says.
Moreover, not only are the titles for Season 6 intriguing, A's identity continues to puzzle the audience. Many think A is really Charles DiLaurentis and there are numerous spoilers that indicate he is a transgender. Furthermore, A is speculated to be not working alone as the villain in the series but might be very well working with a group to put the girls in misery. However the show turns out for Season 6, many are certain that A nor Charles are not who they say they are. Maya Goldsmith teases that A's identity remains for everyone to figure out.
"You can never rule anyone out because A always has ways of monitoring one situation and being somewhere else, so no, you can never rule anyone out." she quotes.
