"Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson recently posted photos of what seems to be a baby bump from the first trimester all the way to the third. PLL fans began to speculate that if Benson was not pregnant in real life, then it means her character, Hannah will get pregnant in season 6.
On Friday, April 10, Ashley Benson posted a photo of her together with her onscreen love interest, Tyler Blackburn. In the photo, Benson is lying on the couch while Blackburn is kissing her protruding belly. Benson captioned the photo, "First trimester."
PLL fans started to freak out after seeing the photo, which caused rumors to speculate that either Benson or her character might be pregnant. Benson immediately shut down rumors of her being pregnant in real life, as she follows the photo with yet another baby bump photo. This time, Benson shows a bigger bump and her caption now reads, "Third Trimester."
Benson's second photo, fueled speculations that Benson's character for "Pretty Little Liars," Hannah, will get pregnant come season six. Design & Trend cited a number of PLL fans' reactions over Benson's photo. According to the outlet, a user named Nicole Anderson (@nicolea2204) tweeted: "Ashley Benson is pregnant, what's gonna happen in PLL?! Is Hannah gonna pregnant too!? #ohlord."
Another user named Sara (@ssaramahone) said: "I bet all this Ashley Benson pregnant thing is for the next season of pll." Benson, however, slammed these speculations, as the 25-year-old actress later on claimed that the baby bump from her second photo was a result of a "food baby." A source also told E! News that Benson and Backburn were only "goofing around" and the prank had nothing to do with the PLL storyline.
Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" is already gearing up for season 6 and a number of PLL theories have already emerged. Some fans are speculating that Andrew Campbell is the big 'A,' especially after executive producer I. Marlene King posted a photo of a young man facing a teddy bear. PLL fans believe that the young man in the photo is Andrew Campbell.
