The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2 movie which will be shown in theaters on November 20 is set to stick to the book as the movie ends. This could imply that there is a big chance that Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) will choose Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) over Gale (Liam Hemsworth).
In a synopsis report for The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2, it is said that Katniss will team up with friends Peeta, Gale and Finnick (Sam Claflin) as they plot an assassination attempt against President Snow. While they are on an operation, a love triangle will continue to develop between the first three mentioned characters. The question is, who will Katniss end up with?
BY THE BOOK
In the said book, Peeta and Katniss end up together. Peeta recalls his love for Katniss and eventually realizes her feelings for him. After 20 years, they have two children. The last movie of the Hunger Games series is the Part 2 of the Mockingjay book by Suzanne Collins. There is no confirmation yet however if this plot will be followed in Mocking Jay Part 2. A report though says that it has been confirmed that Director Francis Lawrence does not want any spin off in the movie and he wants to make it appear like the story in the book.
GOODBYE GALE?
Another source in a way supports this saying that when Katniss' sister Prim is killed in a bombing which is the same way that Gale invented in order to blow The Nut, Katniss looks at Gale in a different way since the incident. She eventually cuts off any possible romantic relationship with his bestfriend. The Nut is the center of military operations at the Capitol where innocent people are confined. The two although is reported to have an intimate scene in the earlier part.
Will there still be changes in the love story? Does Gale, who has always stood beside Katniss, stand a chance? Hunger Games: Mocking Jay 2 is scheduled to open in theaters on November 20, 2015.
