A refreshing photo of the cast of the film during its recent script reading was recently released, showing the actors for the movie. Now, the cast and crew are now under intense pressure to be able to create a blockbuster hit out of the interesting villain-lead movie.
The director of the movie, David Ayers shared a picture from the set of the "Suicide Squad" earlier today on his Twitter account with the caption, "Day 1 #SuicideSquad." The union of our unlikely villains is one of the most anticipated films of the year featuring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach and Viola Davis.
The actors for the film were also featured a week ago during the script read-through of the movie. David Ayer was also the one posted a picture of the cast of the movie last Wednesday on social media.
This time around, the bad guys of the DC cinematic universe are the ones leading a potentially box-office hit movie. The villains are out to participate in a very dangerous black-ops mission in exchange for their freedom and redemption.
The plot of the movie will revolve around a group of villains led by Deadshot portrayed by Will Smith and Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie. The Joker is also rumored to be appearing in the movie and will become the protagonist of the villains in the movie.
Slipknot and Hugo Strange are also rumored to be appearing in the "Suicide Squad" film and will be portrayed by Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz, respectively. Details on whether the two characters are about to team up with Deadshot or will be working against them are not yet revealed.
An August 5, 2016 release is slated for the Warner Brother's movie.
