Destiny’s 1.1.2 Patch Begins Tomorrow, House of Wolves DLC Will Release on May 19 With Multiplayer Mode, Biggest Release is Yet to Come After

By

Although there has been no new Raid activity announced just yet, Destiny's second DLC House of Wolves is primarily pushing for a multiplayer mode despite qualms it would affect the game's overall system performance.

A recent blog post on Bungie has stated that the developer opted not to include a new Raid for Destiny's expansion and instead announced that a new Raid will be out before the years 2015 ends due to fan reception of Raids.

This strengthens reports that the biggest content release is yet to come for destiny. News prompts first hinted the same report after Activision executive Eric Hirshberg claimed almost the same statement recently.

Meanwhile, the brand new three-player cooperative multiplayer arena, which will be played in the end of the game, is dubbed The Prison of Elders. It will give central point on "variety, replayability, and skill." Bungie has planned out a live gameplay of the Prison of Elders on May 6.

Before getting here, on April 22, Bungie will give players a walking tour of The Reef, with live discussions about update paths for the existing Exotic and Legendary gear. Bungie will also reveal the live gameplay of Trials of Osiris and its collection of end game gear.

Both Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders are brand new additions to Destiny's end game activities. In another news, Destiny's 1.1.2 update will begin today. The update will bring changes to the competitive mode, the new Colorblind mode, and bug fixes for Raid bosses Atheon and Crota.

Previously, a video teaser has been leaked showing the complete list of Vanguard and Crucible gear. The weapons appeared to be similar from those leaked screenshots a few months ago. Details of the video indicate it was obtained by hacking but through an in-game glitch. Bungie confirmed this on its website fan forum with a #Destiny, #how, and #glitch.

Although Bungie has not confirmed it, based on the end part of the video showing date May 19 suggests that the Vanguard and Crucible gear are indeed coming up with House of Wolves. Activision has already announced last Tuesday that House of Wolves will be out in consoles on May 19, 2015.
