"Having Rick and Morgan together, finally, again is a huge deal, and it's definitely going to be a big part of Season 6," teased Kirkman at the NAB Show Panel on Tuesday, The Wrap reported. According to Kirkman, Rick and Morgan have changed and these changes will affect their relationship and how they are going to work together.

"It's the questions of how they're going to interact, how they're going to work together - if they're going to work together - and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of season six," Kirkman added.

The finale of season five showed the reunion of Rick and Morgan in the most unexpected way with Morgan seeing Rick shoot a man in the head. Obviously, Morgan will have issues with Rick killing a man, but Rick, being the leader that he is, will insist that things have changed and so has he.

Some spoilers for "The Walking Dead" tease fans that if the show follows the comics, then Carl Grimes may lose his eye during a fight in the upcoming season. According to Game N Guide, in the comic version of the series, Carl loses his eye, but this helps him reconcile with his father, Rick, who has lost his hand.

We know that Rick did not lose his hand in season five, so Carl could either lose his eye or the writers could skip this part out again. Some spoilers also indicate that Morgan may be bitten by a zombie during the same battle, which could cost him an arm.
