After the initial release of a three-part image of what seemed to be a storm trooper in the Official Star Wars Instagram account, additional images have been added to further tease anxious fans. The series of partial images began to attract much attention after fans are directed to it by EA Dice executives on Twitter. Gameinformer posted on their website a composite image of the said partial photos revealed.
The series of photo teasers ties in with the approaching official release of the first Star Wars: Battlefront trailer. April 17, 2015 is the set date for the trailer release and many are anxious to be the first to see what EA has in store. According to Gameinformer, release date for this epic Star Wars installment maybe set in November as Halo's Xbox One release falls on October, while the new Star Wars movie is set for December. Though the exact release date is still unknown, many are hoping that with the release of the first trailer comes also the official date for this game to hit the shelves.
EA DICE executives and staff started a tweet salvo to hype fans with the upcoming game. Many of these tweets boast how the game is awesome and incredible. Global community manager Vincent Vukovic also sent out a tweet rallying fans to "break the internet" when the trailer is released later this week.
Aside from this, Xbox One games will have the chance to play the game first on its release with the help of the EA Access program. This gives Xbox One users an advance released date compared to other platforms. Xbox's Aaron Greenberg said on a twitter response covered by Gamespot.
The EA Access is a monthly subscription program that gives users the chance to play EA games a week before the official release date. Though EA planned to have the program available for both Xbox and Playstation, Sony refused the offer.
