For the long wait, iPod Touch 6th Generation would do every Apple fan justice when it will be powered with the still-in-the-works A9 microprocessor in it. That should be timely given the fact that it's been three long years since the iPod Touch saw a new iteration.
Further, the iPod's newest version will spell convenience for everybody with Siri in tow, Apple's most famous voice assistant.
And since the iPod Touch 5 launched in September of 2012, it's highly-likely the latest iteration will come September this year along with a slew of Apple's flagship smartphones.
Breaking Ground
It may truly dazzle this time breaking away from the mold as most functions of the iPod Touch are possible in current iPhones and iPads.
Not only will it be outstanding externally coming out in six different colors: silver, pink, red, blue, space grey, and yellow, the up-and-coming music device is going to be a true media powerhouse as it will reportedly carry the much-awaited iOS 9.
Currently, iOS 9 is undergoing its beta testing but should be available in time for a September launching.
For better handling, iPod Touch 6 will no longer wallow in traditional touch commands but will boast of Siri, Apple's fave online assistant notes Crossmap.
What that means is you will be able to go through your playlist without even lifting a single finger.
Aligning Firsts
This time around, the new iPod Touch 6th Gen reportedly will not fall short of firsts.
To boot, it will be powered by an A9 microprocessor which would put any iPhone 6 to shame as the chipset is way better than what the smartphone carries.
Although A9 microprocessors have not seen the light of day as they are still to come out of production their better and faster reputation precedes these microsets, reports MasterHerald.
Complete that with a water-resistant feature, an 8MP iSight camera, 1GB RAM and longer battery life and you have one music device that's hard to resists.
Of course, with Apple Pay gaining ground, the online payment facility will most likely find its way to the iPod Touch 6.
And lest we forget, the iPod Touch 6 will be compatible with the recently available Apple Watch.
Coming in two distinct sizes - 4.7-inch screen size and a 5.5-inch display - which will both feature Retina display, iPod touch 6th Generation will carry a price tag ranging from $250 to $300.
As the Cupertino-based tech giant making a killing last year in its smartphone business, speculations are rife the future iPod Touch will be introduced to the public alongside iPhone 7.
Apple has yet to confirm all these specifications and developments but from the looks of it, the iPod Touch 6th Generation is a must-have.
