Tekken 7 had its arcade release on March 10, however, there is still limited news as to when the game will be coming to consoles. As of the moment, there have been speculations but in terms of an official release, Bandai Namco has kept their mouth shut. Though, it is likely that Tekken 7 will be released simultaneously with a recent upcoming event.
Moreover, in July, the game is bound to make an appearance at the prestigious EVO 2015 tournament in Las Vegas. However, the event is known to only feature console game versions that led to the speculation that Tekken 7 will be played on an Xbox One and PS4. In addition, it is assumed that it will be in the event that Bandai Namco will officially release the console version of the game.
People are eager to get their hands on the game especially that the arcade release has already teased players of the upcoming new characters. As of the moment, there are a total of 20, however, this will be further expanded via downloadable content in the future. Moreover, since the initial release of the arcade version, some things are going to be different especially that developers have worked on graphical developments.
Additionally, the current version already runs at 1080p and 60fps, which means that every detail and movement is going to be as sharp as it can get. Further improving the game's performance is the utilization of Unreal 4 game engine, the first game in the entire franchise to use the technology. Moreover, it is also the reason that allowed it to run on maximum level on different current gen consoles.
A lot of hopes are up as the upcoming event draws to a near, however, it should be remembered that the news came from a series of rumors. In the event that the game is not officially released in EVO 2015, it is most likely to be anytime soon. Bandai Namco can tease the audience long enough before they get tired on anticipating for the release of Tekken 7 on Xbox One and PS4.
