Zac Efron, Seth Rogen &`Neighbors' Creative Team Reunite for Sequel; Will Bad Neighbors 2 Be Hilarious?

By

Zac Efron and Seth Rogen fans will see the two driven actors team up again when Bad Neighbors 2 hits theaters in May 2016. It's an unbeatable combination that has raked in profits in 2014.

The star of the Disney musical franchise "High School Musical" and funnyman Seth -- who happens to be a talented voice artist too -- will most likely have audiences in stitches anew when the second installment is shown. Zac and Seth are supported by "rising stars" that include attractive Australian actress Rose Byrne and "22 Jump Street" and "Fright Night" actor Dave Franco.

Given the fact that the same team that comprised "Bad Neighbors" - from the producers, writers, actors and actresses - will be back for the sequel, movie enthusiasts are hoping they'll get their creative juices flowing again to come up with an enjoyable film.

Some people noted that Bad Neighbors' ending did not suggest that a sequel will be underway. Then again, nothing's impossible in the movie world, where prequels, sequels, and crossovers are the order of the day.

Confirmation of Neighbors 2 is welcome news for Zac Efron's devoted fans, who have seen him snip away his teenybopper image (that was put to utmost use in the High School Musical movies) to tackle more 'adult roles like that of a young physician on duty the day JFK was killed ("Parkland") and the marine in the Nicholas Sparks book-adapted-for-film "The Lucky One."

Though there have been people who have openly expressed that the R-rated 2014 hit movie did not really tickle their funnybone, others opined it was a great movie that showcased not just Zac Efron's abs but also his comedic flair.

If you ever lived next door to raucous people, then you might get a kick from watching, or identify with, the Radners (so naturally played by Seth Rogen & Rose Byrne). Let's see whether Director Nicholas Stoller will be able to bring out another fine concoction of "stoner comedy, slapstick and situational humor" while also touching on relatable issues (like having a baby & adapting to people) from a perfect cast.
