'The Flash' Updates: Spoilers for "Who is Harrison Wells?" and Killer Frost coming soon?

By

This week's episode of the 'The Flash,' titled "All-Star Teamup" gave viewers another taste of the fun, sometimes awkward, yet epic crossovers of the two highly popular CW superhero TV series. Whether it was the hilarious bromance between Ray and Cisco, the weird yet funny similarities between Felicity and Ray (which obviously annoyed some of Team Flash's members), or the slow yet certain revelation to Barry and his gang that the benevolent Dr. Harrison Wells is not who he seems to be, 'The Flash' has certainly brought another entertaining episode to its viewers this week.

One of the most interesting reveals in 'The Flash' was the real identity of Harrison Wells. Two episodes earlier, a flashback showed the real Dr. Wells dying at the hands of Eobard Thawne (a.k.a. Reverse Flash), who revealed to the former his importance before killing him. Last week's episode "All-Star Teamup" started moving towards the unveiling of Dr. Wells, with Dr. Tina McGee telling Barry how Wells became a "totally different person" after the accident.

The sypnosis for week's episode, titled "Who is Harrison Wells," was released by CW last week (courtesy of ComicBook.com):

"Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head to Starling City to continue their investigation of Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance (guest star Paul Blackthorne), and Cisco meets the Black Canary (guest star Katie Cassidy), who asks him for a favor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates (guest star Martin Novotny) who can transform himself into every person he touches - which includes Eddie (Rick Cosnett), Iris (Candice Patton), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and even The Flash."

It is obvious that Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells' secret might be revealed soon. The question on everyone's minds now is; how will the revelation affect the two of Barry's teammates, Cisco and Caitlyn?

In the comics, Cisco Ramone and Caitlyn Snow are the alter-egos of the superhero Vibe and villain Killer Frost, respectively. And according to many fans, the way they both reacted to Barry's revelation at the end of the last episode may give a hint on how they will fulfill their destinies - Caitlyn being cynical about the notion that Wells is the Reverse Flash, while Cisco, aided by the nightmares that he has been having lately, starting to believe that Dr. Wells may not be who everyone thinks it his.

There is a lot to expect in the last few episodes of 'The Flash,' and the way the things are going, fans will surely get an explosive and suspenseful finale that is worthy of a first season ender.

'The Flash' airs on CW every Tuesday evening.
