OnePlus is said to be working on an Android 5.0 OS secretly, and that the Lollipop is being offered to OnePlus One owners. The reason was that there were a lot of licensing controversies about the Cyanogen in India, which is currently running OnePlus One devices. The company made an alpha build of the OS, and is right now replacing Cyanogen.
OnePlus reportedly made the Android 5.0 ROM available over the air on the company website, which is said to be close to the Nexus version. Since the ROM is just in its early stages, users are tipped to expect some issues. OnePlus is also set to release its 10,000 mAh power bank in India. OnePlus India head Vikas Agarwal said that the OnePlus Power Bank was going to be available in the last week of April on Amazon.
OnePlus' Power Bank will contend with the Xiaomi's 14,000 mAh power bank. Compared to Xiaomi's power bank, the OnePlus Power Bank is 30g lighter than its Mi counterpart. Further, OnePlus claimed that their power bank could charge from zero to 100% in just 5.5 hours, and has two USB ports, enabling simultaneous charging of multiple devices.
