LG G4 Note is a Better Model for the 2015 Nexus; Possibility of Sporting Snapdragon 820

By

Rumors and leaks on LG G4's specs and feaures did not turn out to be the killer phone everyone expected it to be, hence many think that Google's choice of LG to build the 2015 Nexus may not be a wise move.

One of the major issues with G4 is its downgrade from Snapdragon 810 to the six-core Snapdragon 808. Fans eye on the device primarily due to Snapdragon 810 but because to the recurring overheating problems of the model, LG decides to go for the downgrade than delay the scheduled release of the flagship.

Nevertheless, Google seems to have a backup plan and the company can instead opt to pattern Nexus 2015 with LG G4 Note. The premium G4 Note is rumored to model Samsung's leap from Galaxy S5 to Galaxy S6 wherein there is a considerable overhaul in specs, features and design. While LG G4 comes with a plastic body, G4 Note fashions a glass and metal rig thus giving it a top-of-the-line look and feel. Moreover, regarding the LG G4 overheating issues, G4 Note is more likely to sport an all-new and improved Snapdragon 810 since by the product's release in late 2015, Qualcomm is by that time, expected to put an end to the overheating issues of 810.

A more interesting aspect in the journey of Google choice of LG for 2015 Nexus is that the model may just be in time for Snapdragon 820. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 is to be released in the last quarter for this year and is a main ingredient for Samsung Galaxy Note 5. With this powerful chip coming out at the time of Nexus production, it becomes hard to believe that Google and LG would want to be left out by Samsung; hence the incorporation of Snapdragon 820 in 2015 Nexus becomes a highly-anticipated possibility.

Amidst all these rumors, it remains to be seen until April 28 if LG confirms this frustrating CPU downgrade and until Google makes formal announcements, fans are still to expect the 2015 Nexus by LG.
