Princess Diana’s Will finally revealed, what did the Royal family inherit?

Eighteen years following Princess Diana's death after a car accident, the Princess' Will have been finally put up for public viewing. Those who want to read the full document however will need to pay a certain fee in order to access it on a new archive website.

According to a report, one of the Princess' wills says she has left $30 to her sons Prince William and Prince Harry. It also read that the Princess' asked her ex-husband that their sons' education, upbringing and wellbeing should be consulted to her mother Frances Shand Kydd. The report said the will emphasized that Princess Diana made sure that her sons will be in good hands since she has been divorced with Prince Charles. The two were divorced in 1996, a year before the Princess died.

Another source says the People's Princess bequeathed her 18-carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring to Prince William. It is the same ring he gave his wife Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. William and Harry also received their mother's jewelleries and other precious items. A discretionary fund was meanwhile put up for the princes as well as their future wives and descendants.

The Princess' last wish included that her sons would obtain €6.5 million each when they turn 30 which they have already received. Moreover, the Princess' silk ivory wedding dress that was decorated with thousands of pearls and a 25-foot train was also left to Prince Harry. Aside from her sons, her butler and confidante Paul Burrell inherits £50,000 without inheritance tax, as stated in the will's first provision.

Princess Diana's 17 godchildren were also handed down a carriage clock and watercolor paintings according to a report. The will also states that the Princess wished to be buried. The document is kept in a secured facility in Birmingham along with 40 million last will and testament documents of other people who passed away.
