Bungie seemed to remain silent for Destiny 2 instalment series to come out. However, there are speculations that it would come out in spring 2016. Though the game developer has released one DLC pack last year, yet there was another set to arrive in a few months after this writing.
According to some sources online, they mentioned about Activision's blog post citing that their avid fans should expect another Destiny series in fall 2015. But what was not clear was the specific Destiny series they are talking about whether it would be the Destiny 2 or another game title.
Aside from the rumor about the game instalment, they also guessed that it would be possible to have the next Destiny instalment earlier than expected. Bungie, the game developing team, behind the success of the previous Destiny series did not release any affirmations to these claims, however.
But there are also some who still believed that the Destiny 2 development is on its way. Fans have been experiencing a lot turmoil regarding this issue. Yet, Bungie has no word about it.
Amid these speculations from their avid fans, they still remained their utmost silence without giving any feedback in response to these wild guesses from their avid fans. This is quite disappointing for their part as fans since they were expecting a lot from the game developer and even the publisher themselves for further updates for this game.
With these being said, it might be possible that there will be no Destiny 2 to launch by this game developer. If there would be, at least, they will give hints to their players about it. If not, they will be giving teasers for its coming. But so far, there is none. So this possibility could also be true.
On the other side, the House of Wolves DLC - the second DLC expansion after The Dark Below last year -- will be released this coming May 19 in multi-platform since it would be compatible for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The said expansion contained different cool and new features that will surely entice every gamer.
Reportedly, they explained that this House of Wolves DLC pack contains 3 new Crucible maps, a new Fallen Strike, a new Awoken storyline as well as an exclusive raid with hundreds of weapons, armor and gear. These are all-new in one pack.
Slated for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, Destiny 2 will arrive hopefully mid-2015 and 2016.
