"Teen Wolf" returns with all-new episodes for season 5, as MTV recently released its list of Summer premiere date along with other shows including "Girl Code," "Scream" and "Awkward." Now that fans have until June 29 to countdown to the season 5 premiere of "Teen Wolf," what can they expect to see from Scott, Stiles and the rest of the pack?
The plot synopsis on MTV reads: "On the eve of senior year, Scott and his friends find themselves facing the possibility of a future without each other, a next phase of their lives that might take them in different directions despite their best intentions."
Season 5 will premiere with a special two-night premiere event and fans were already given a glimpse of what awaits them in the upcoming season, as a teaser trailer was released on Sunday, April 12 at the 2015 MTV Awards Ceremony. The teaser trailer showed what seemed to be darker and scarier scenes.
Arden Cho, who plays Kitsune Kira told Fashion & Style that season 5 will have lighter and funnier scenes, much like those from Seasons 1 and 2.
"The show has grown up a lot, and a lot of things have happened - but I think what I appreciated so much about Season 5 is it brought back a lot of the Season 1 comedy and the relationships," she said. Cho's statement, however, could cause quite some confusion with "Teen Wolf" writer and producer, Eric Wallace, who said that Season 5 will have the scariest villains.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 premiere episode entitled, "Creatures of the Night" will air on June 29 at 10:00 p.m. on MTV.
