MTV recently announced its Summer premiere dates for "Teen Wolf" Season 5, fan favorite comedy "Faking It," thriller series "Scream," and "Awkward" amongst other shows. With the announcement of renewals and premiere dates also came in with the news that "Eye Candy" will no longer return for season two.
Good news for "Teen Wolf" fans! The romance-fantasy-action series will return on television screens for Season 5 on Monday, June 29 at 10:00 p.m on MTV. "Teen Wolf" Season 5 will premiere a special two-night event, which follows where Season 4 ended.
According to MTV, "Teen Wolf" Season 5 will revolve around Scott, Stiles, and the rest of the pack at Beacon Hills, as they discover that they will soon be living their separate lives after graduation. A new enemy will appear and will try to break the pack even before they graduate.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 Episode 2 will air on Tuesday, June 30, which will be followed by the most-awaited television adaptation of the horror movie, "Scream." As seen on the teaser trailer for the upcoming series, a young woman receives a message that reads, "Heads up." Just in time, the lights flicker and when the lights go out, the woman sees the boy's head in front of her.
"Awkward" Season 5 premieres on Monday, Aug. 31 at 9 p.m. and will show Jenna and the rest of the cast only a few weeks away from graduating from high school. Jenna will also be forced to make a decision on where she wants her relationship with Matty to go.
MTV's comedy "Faking It" returns with its second half of Season 2 on Monday, Aug. 31 at 9:30 p.m. following "Awkward." The series features Katie Stevens and Rita Volk.
Meanwhile, "Eye Candy" will no longer be back for Season 2, as its first season failed to gain viewership. According to E! News, "Eye Candy" only received a maximum of 700,000 viewers and its star Victoria Justice also shared her thoughts on the show's cancellation on Twitter. Justice said that she will always hold Lindy Sampson close to her heart.
