Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin are one of the busiest boys in the hood, with an upcoming "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour and second album to work on. Guys of "5 Seconds of Summer" is set to write songs with Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx on their much-anticipated new album and even plans to release new LP every year. Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood seems to be dating some lucky girls despite the strict "No Girlfriend" rule.
Despite their forthcoming "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour which will kick off on May 4, the boys of "5 Seconds of Summer" are still very much committed to make new music this year for their fans. The boys will be collaborating with several artists for their follow up on their self-titled debut album, which topped the Billboard 200 upon release.
Motley Crue Nikki Sixx announced via Twitter that he will be doing some lyric writing with the famous quartet. Aside from Sixx, the band revealed that the second album is already on the works. The boys will be working again with the Good Charlotte twins Joel and Benji Madden, who wrote the 5SOS hit "Amnesia," as well as producer John Feldman for their sophomore album.
"We've written most of it, and we're recording it now. We'll release it when it's right, whether it's on the tour or at the end of the tour," 5SOS lead guitarist Michael Clifford said.
5SOS is dedicated to make music for their fans as the band is planning on releasing one album a year. The band is currently adapting a speed where they can confidently release an album per year. Their 'no girlfriend rule" is one of their current plans but Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood seems to be breaking that rule by dating some lucky girls.
"5 Seconds of Summer" may get busy with their "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" tour but the boys assure their fans that they will be releasing their sophomore album this year. The band is working with various artists like Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx to ensure the quality of the music they will offer to their fans.
