Detective Lionel Fusco, Root, and Harold Finch worked together to stop a gang war. Meanwhile, John Reese attempted to work on the late Detective Joss Carter's cold cases, which put him at serious risk.

So what case was this? On getting the file of Reese's new number, it revealed Chase Patterson, who was accused of "slashing the throats of his entire family". When he interrogated Chase, he only got the same statements that Carter did.

The Person of Interest episode also had flashback scenes of conversations between Reese and Carter, talking about his relationship with Jessica and why he let her go.

"Asylum" is the title of the next Person of Interest episode, which will air on April 28, Tuesday on CBS. Spoilers reported by TV Guide revealed that Fusco and Reese will be caught between Elias and Dominic's war.

At the same time, Shaw will be searched by Finch and Root. Little do they know that the clue at hand to locate her might be a trap. To add to that, Control will go "rogue" to learn the truth about Samaritan.

With these events on their way, Person of Interest co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan tells Zap2it that the final two episodes of season 4 will be a "bloodbath."

The good news is that a lot of old faces will be showing up in order to wrap up their respective sides of the story. As pre-empted earlier, Taraji P. Henson, who plays Joss Carter, will be one of them.

Person of Interest season 4 will definitely come to a climactic close as it pivots to "a war between two gods."
