The movie "Aquaman" might have already sealed a deal with its director. James Wan of the "Furious 7" movie is being eyed by the production outfit to direct the upcoming "Aquaman" standalone movie scheduled for 2018.

"Aquaman" is on the move and is eyeing for a box-office certified director. Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment are openly considering James Wan of the famous 'Furious 7' franchise. The director who led the box-office hit movie into a billion dollar hit is now being sought after to probably do the same for the "Aquaman" movie.

James Wan has not yet confirmed if an offer has already been given to him at this stage but this seems to be a feasible partnership between the director and Warner Brothers. He will be working with Will Beall and Kurt Johnstand who are writing separate scripts for the project.

Jason Momoa has already been slated to play the role of "Aquaman" and has already been scheduled to be introduced in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. His manly and dominating stance in his costume reveal are leaving fans confused, is he really leading the Justice Leagues unification or is he a conqueror to watch out for in the upcoming film?

Jason Momoa made an impression in the "Game of Thrones" series as Khal Drago, a fearless king of the Dothraki. His looks, stance and overall personality seem to be too empowering compared to the original "Aquaman" in the comic series and cartoon shows. Will he do justice to his role? Or are fans up to an interesting twist in his character in the upcoming "Aquaman" movie in 2018? Adrian Greneir, the human identity of "Aquaman" has been known for riding sea horses and for being in a brightly-clad costume. Jason Momoa definitely didn't send of that impression.

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa is keeping himself busy in his role in the Sundance TV drama, Kopus a fierce and troublesome member of the Native American Lanape Tribe. The inhabitants of the mountains of New Jersey are now in Season 2 where Kopus is held as a prisoner after a shootout from Season 1.

As for Momoa's character in the Justice league, here is what he has to say. "Justice League is quite a ways off. We don't have scripts and stuff like that," Momoa says. "I'll bring my professionalism there. I'll bring my sense of humor. Hopefully people will like that. If they don't I'll modify it."

Zack Snyder was the genius behind the unexpected reveal of the new image of the "Aquaman." The movie is scheduled for release on July 27, 2018n with James Wan as the possible director.
