Hasbro was initially rumored to intentionally leaked images of the latest dinosaurs of the upcoming film "Jurassic World." Is history going to repeat itself as Hasbro creates a new line of toys under the "Transformers" franchise? The toymaker confirmed that the success of its first quarter sales for 2015 was mainly due to the Transformers robot sales as well as other toys for boys. The company is also predicting to hit another all-time high as the company works on another new set of toys inspired by the "Transformers 5: Age of Extinction."

Meanwhile, the shared universe seems to be an unstoppable trend dominating the cinemas. Marvel is doing it, DC and Warner Brothers is doing it and so does the Star Wars franchise.
