"NCIS" returns on TV after a one-week break with episode 22 titled, "Troll." According to The Futon Critic, Matt Jones will be reprising his former role as NCIS Special Agent Ned Dorneget while Jamie Bamber will be back as NSA Attorney Jake Malloy.

The official synopsis for the episode reads, "Special Agent Ned Dorneget from NCIS cyber operations assists the team when a Navy ensign who worked in the Office of Naval Intelligence is murdered. Also, the team discovers that Jake and Gibbs have become good friends."

Carter Matt noted that the upcoming episode would bring a breath of fresh air for the series, as it takes on a comedic spin and brings out Gibbs occasionally fun personality. Gibbs previously took on a whirlwind of emotions after learning that his father passed away along with a previous incident, which almost took his life.

"NCIS" Season 12 is nearing its finale with episode titles "The Lost Boys" and "Neverland" following this Tuesday's episode. The episode titled "Neverland" marks the season finale of the show and CBS has already given a sneak preview into what lies ahead for the team.

"NCIS feverishly investigates a global terrorist group that is recruiting teens via the Internet, following a deadly bombing overseas that results in an emotional and surprising loss for the team," the synopsis reads, according to Carter Matt.

"NCIS" Season 12 Episode 22 titled, "Trolls" airs on Tuesday, April 28 on CBS.
