Sony's 2010 action/adventure game "God of War III" is scheduled to be re-released as a Remastered edition on PlayStation 4 on July 14 in celebration of the game's tenth year anniversary.

2015 marks the tenth anniversary of the initial release of "God of War." To commemorate this monumental event, Sony and Santa Monica Studios have redeveloped the game for a higher resolution and faster frame right made for PS4. God of War III Remastered will be released in high definition, 1080p 60fps gameplay. The Remastered edition will feature a photo mode photo sharing option for players that want to share screenshots of their gameplay with their loved ones.

"God of War" is centered on the Spartan warrior-turned-God of War Kratos, who seeks revenge for himself and his murdered family against the meddlesome gods of Olympus. His little quest for vengeance sparked a full-blown all out war between the mighty Titans and their children who betrayed them - the Gods of Olympus led by the almighty Zeus.

In "God of War" III Remastered, Kratos is pitted against them once more in high definition detail, as he battles his way across ancient Greece with Gods and monsters at his heels clamoring to spill his blood to end the ancient feud between the might of the all-powerful beings.

The Remastered edition is also celebrated with the release of the impressive 29-inch tall statue of Kratos on the slayed God of War Ares' expansive throne. The hand-painted, limited edition Kratos on Ares' Throne Statue in polystone resin made by artist Yogesh Sharma is available for pre-order and will be released Q4 of this year.

"God of War" has been acclaimed as one of the best games of the decade, receiving BAFTA Video Game Award for Artistic Achievement in 2011. The hack-and-slash game has been praised for its high intensity action, gripping storyline, and top of the line graphics and no doubt has continuously redefined the scale of video game since its initial release in 2005. 

"God of War III" Remastered will be available for PS4 in July 14, 2015. Meanwhile, the hand-painted Kratos on Ares' Throne Statue is currently available for pre-order to be shipped Q4 of this year.
