Ryan Gosling is being talked into starring alongside Harrison Ford in Blade Runner 2. Already high-tech when it was shown in 1982, the sequel will be more futuristic with a dystopia or imaginary setting in the year 2019.
According to a report, Ryan Gosling has yet to confirm this although his role is still unknown. Director Harrison Ford will be seen again in the movie who played Rick Deckard in the same film of the same title in 1982. The report said the film's setting will be in the year 2019 in Los Angeles. It will be ultramodern with a dystopian environment, described as an unlikeable imaginary situation. The first movie was described as something new but viewers may expect a more modern take this time. There is no confirmed plot yet for the new movie. In the old movie, Harrison Ford was a replicant defined as a bioengineered being. Filming is reported to commence next year while there is no release date yet.
Another report says that in the 1982 film, the lead character played by Harrison Ford is forced by the police Boss to carry on as Replicant hunter. Before starting on the job, he goes to Tyrell Corporation where he meets a Replicant girl played by Sean Young whom he falls in love with.
However, another source says that Young will no longer be seen in the second instalment. It was reported that when Young and Director Scott Ridley met, the latter did not mention anything to her about the movie. It is for this reason that she "left it alone." Ridley, who was originally to direct Blade Runner 2 has announced about his change of plans. He will still be part though of the movie as a producer. Ridley has revealed that the movie will about finding Harrison Ford who will appear in the later part.
In case Ryan Gosling makes it to Blade Runner 2 and with Harrison Ford around, a spectacular film will surely be one thing the present modern generation should not miss.
