EXO member, Tao, was confirmed to have left the group. His father revealed that his son to leave the group for the reason "filiality" directly linked to the previously rumored interest to breach contract from SM Entertainment.
Based from the previous reports, from the original 12 members of the Chinese-South Korean boy band, EXO, formed in 2011, now slowly each of the member is pulled out one by one. This was mainly caused by the lawsuit filed by the members against SM Entertainment due to disrespect to their personal concerns with their scheduled performances set by the network.
With the case of Tao, through his interview earlier, there was already a big speculation that he might leave the group and breach his contract with SM Entertainment. His father said that his son has to prioritize his treatments than the rest of the responsibilities that he has to do as a performer.
His father added that for three consecutive years in his successive career in show business, he has neglected his responsibilities and tasks concerning his health. Thus, his neglect to this part has caused his injury aftermaths at much risk.
Huang Zitao's father also revealed that SM Entertainment did not take care of the well-being of his son after he got the injury. With that clear reason, it showed that the network does not care that much to their performers' well-being including those who have already an incurred injury at work. This unexpected event result to his inability to perform well with the group.
Instead of showing care to his son, the officials of the said network invited him to talk about the future of his son. Well in fact, he cannot make it possible for the moment because of the pain in his leg. Zitao's father also said that the network has not showed any form of acknowledgement to his son's efforts for the group and for the company as a whole. This saddens his heart.
The said treatment will be made after Tao got an injury just recently. Because of the injury that seemed to be a bit serious, it lead him to the decision to finally leave the group. Huang Zitao's leaving saddens many of his fans.
