'The Flash' Finale Spoilers: Superman to appear in Season 1 finale episode? Cyborg rumored for upcoming role

By

The Flash is already one of the more insane comic book TV shows on right now. Few TV shows give their lead characters incredible superpowers and release massive gorillas with psychic powers into the city. But The Flash does- and now The Flash might be introducing something even more insane: The Man of Steel.

According to Hollywood Life, the first season finale of The Flash will feature an alternate timeline, and in that timeline, Superman will be very real- and played by Smallville's Tom Welling, who was Clark Kent for many years on his own show. Here's what Hollywood Life said is going down in the Flash finale.

"Greg Berlanti told reports during a CW event that SUPERMAN may appear in season 2 of The Flash. Now, from what I gather, this Superman is going to be played by Tom Welling and his Superman may or may not be tied to Smallville but I think that at the end season 1 would introduce an alternate timeline where Superman exists and Caitlin and Cisco are metahumans."

And he's not the only major Justice League superhero set to appear on The Flash. Recently, actor Franz Drameh was cast for the show's second season, and the description of his character sounds exactly like another major DC hero. Via IGN, here's a description of Drameh's new addition to The Flash.

The CW's Flash is already getting incredible ratings and great reviews. It's not so surprising, then, that the network is willing to give The Flash a massive boost in its next season.

Drameh will play Jay Jackson, "a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew."

Which sounds exactly like Victor Stone, aka Cyborg in DC Comics.
