Kingdom Hearts 3 will make an appearance in 2015, however, its release is far off from happening. This is in regards to a recent Kingdom Hearts 3 update from the developers themselves. After being announced in 2013, the game is still in development and the reason for that are numerous.
At Japan's 2015 D23 Expo that will happen sometime around in November, Kingdom Hearts 3 will make an appearance. Though, it will only serve as the first official trailer of the game and will not mark a release. There have been many speculations that the game is coming around this year 2015 but Square Enix, developer of the game, has kept their mouth shut. Although, it is confirmed that further information will be unraveled around fall.
In addition, there have been several factors prolonging the game. For the most part, developers are still fine tuning the graphics since what happened was an overhaul rather than an upgrade of the previous game's graphics. Also, the company has been busy with their other projects including Final Fantasy Versus 3 that resulted to the redirection of resources.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is a crossover action role-playing game and dates back as early as 2002. As a result, it has gained some loyal fans that are anticipating for its release. Despite the disappointment that it might be a little bit prolonged even further to a point of a 2016 release, it did have its fair share of good news. It has been confirmed that it will come to mobile platforms and not just to Xbox One and PS4, allowing players to enjoy the game whilst on the go.
As of the moment, there have been slight leaks of the possible featured contents of the game, one of which is that there might be an added Star Wars world. Though, that is all there is to the Kingdom Hearts 3 update from the developers. In the meantime, the only thing can be done is to wait for further confirmed announcements.
