Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate received new screenshots showing the upcoming downloadable quests coming in May. The next pack of DLC is expected to be available by Friday, May 1. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate ships one million units in the West only two months after its release.
Capcom recently released the screenshots of the downloadable quests that will soon be available for the Japanese version of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Three new quests will be available and will come weekly after the release of the first quest. The first one is expected to be released on May 1, followed by the second quest on May 8, and lastly, the third quest on the following week on May 15.
Nintendo announced in the official Nintendo website that the upcoming additional free DLCs for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released on the first Friday of every month for the next several months. Nintendo then asked the readers to check back on Friday, May 1, promising an all new pack of free downloadable content.
The latest DLC for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, released on the first Friday of April, featured crossover outfits from the Super Mario Bros. and Sonic The Hedgehog series. The April DLC pack included 14 new quests, 2 new weapons, 3 complete armor sets, 2 Palico weapons, 4 Palico armor sets, Mario and Luigi Palico gear, Sonic The Hedgehog Palico gear, and more.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has been available in Japan for a while now but was only released across North America and Europe on February 13, 2015. On April 14th, two months after the release, Capcom announced that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has shipped one million in combined retail and digital units in the West. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has been the most popular entry in the Monster Hunter series yet which has sold more than 32 million units worldwide.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the new version of Capcom's classic Monster Hunter 4. The game is now available worldwide exclusively on Nintendo 3DS. Multiple free DLC packs have been released since the launch of the game including March's Legend of Zelda themed content and April's Super Mario Bros. and Sonic The Hedgehog themed content.
